Large corporations including Fortune 500 companies trust Honeycomb Archive with their digital assets.  Maintaining our customer files is our core business and we maintain a strong data infrastructure and redundant data backups.  We have our own dedicated servers, firewalls and security appliances in RackSpace data centers.

The level of data backup and system redundancy for your system will depend on the package you select.  All systems are backed up nightly in the data center however higher level packages include additional data backups, longer data retention and even mirroring of your system to a geographically redundant web server.

Although the cost of web storage space continues to drop dramatically it is very important to understand the backup, retention and redundancy for your hosted media files.  We welcome the opportunity to discuss these details in depth with your team and encourage you to examine potential vendors closely in this area.  For example, many companies are moving to Cloud infrastructure for storing media assets because it is so inexpensive.  We have not chosen this route because most Cloud systems do not offer a true and retained "backup" even though they have built in redundancy.
