Photoshop’s batch renaming program is a quick and flexible way to rename a group of digital images. Adobe Photoshop CS2 uses Adobe Bridge to help create the image names. Instead of renaming images separately, with Photoshop and Adobe Bridge, you can save time by selecting a group of digital images and renaming them all at once.
Batch Rename
Open Photoshop. Choose File then click Browse.

Adobe Bridge will open. Navigate to the desired folder. Then choose Tools and then Batch Rename.

Choose what folder you want the renamed digital images to go in. Then choose how you want the new file name to appear and click Rename.

Rename tool will run. Images are then renamed and the newly named images are relocated into their specified folder.
