Honeycomb Archive Digital Asset Management System provides a time-saving digital image tip to improve your efficiency when using the ACDSee Photo Manager.
The ACDSee Photo Manager allows you to organize, share, edit and protect your digital images using the Batch Rename feature. This feature is a quick and easy way to rename folders and groups of digital images that will save you time and effort. Instead of renaming images separately, you can select a group of images and rename them all at once with the ACDSee Photo Manager software. Here is how to use this feature.
The first step is to catalog your files. To begin, open the ACDSee Photo Manager software and go to Database then click on Catalog Files. Choose only the folder that contains the digital images you want to rename. Click Next.

Files will be cataloged, but we need to do a search to find them. In the Search Pane, enter the file extension of the digital images and the folder where they are located. Click Start.

When renaming digital images you may want to add a prefix to the name so that the image names are unique. Once these images have been found, select all that you would like to rename. Go to Tools, and then click Batch Rename. The batch rename dialog box will appear with instructions on how to use the feature. The template will already have some information filled in from the existing file name. Fill in the remaining information regarding the digital images to be renamed. A preview screen is available on the right of the screen. Once done, click Start Rename.

You digital mages will be renamed as shown below.
