Honeycomb Archive is Offering Cash for Your DAM Clunker
Trade in for an Efficient Digital Asset Management System
Columbus, OH (Honeycomb Archive) April 20, 2010 – Honeycomb Archive is offering an incentive to purchase the Corporate version of their Digital Asset Management System, a$2,500 value. This incentive provides 20 hours of free technical support to assist companies that wish to transfer from their current DAM Clunker system to this efficient Honeycomb Archive DAM solution.
Honeycomb Archive is extending this incentive to help companies make a decision to trade-in a problematic DAM system for a DAM solution that is well-suited to meet their needs. “Many times companies find that their current DAM system doesn’t perform as smoothly as they hoped and this is especially frustrating after investing all the time, money and training it took to get the “clunker” deployed. At this point their DAM system becomes a liability instead of a solution,” says Matt Yerkes, founder of Honeycomb Archive. “We want to provide an intuitive DAM solution that is going to perform efficiently and help to increase productivity. To back our claim, we wanted to provide these customers with a valuable incentive to cover the costs of the initial digital asset upload into a new Honeycomb Archive DAM system.”
The Honeycomb Archive Corporate DAM version is organized in a clear, logical way that requires very little training to use but provides extensive functionality. All of Honeycomb Archive’s corporate clients receive a fully guided implementation for their new digital asset management system as well as monthly technical support.
“Our employees didn’t have the time and we didn’t have the corporate willpower to tackle yet another DAM system, but it became an imperative situation. Honeycomb Archive’s specialists made it easier than we could have ever imagined. We love our new digital asset management system,” says one company Vice President.
The Honeycomb Archive DAM system can be set up quickly and strategically as specialists work with companies to map out a plan of implementation, called Data Strategy. this phase identifies the unique needs and functions each company may have for their efficient new DAM System.
Once the Data strategy plan is complete, all digital assets (CDs, encrypted portable hard drives, etc.) are transferred from the old DAM system to the Honeycomb Archive DAM solution. A digital asset spreadsheet, embedded with rich keyword data, will be returned to the customer for metadata tagging to improve the file search functionality. The files will then be hierarchal organized, then uploaded into the new Honeycomb Archive Corporate DAM System that is ready to use.
